Show Hours Policy: CMC requires your booth to be fully set up, staffed and open for business during the Show Hours listed above. Arriving/setting-up after the Show begins each day or leaving/vacating before the Show ends each day without Show Management authorization, will incur a $250 fine.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Select Your Samples Using the Trend Guidelines: Send us your best Fabric and Trim Samples in a variety of textures and colors in prints and solids, using the SS26 Trend Guidelines provided by Peclers Paris. Samples Must Abide By Color & Trend Guidelines. We will not include samples that do not reflect any of the colors, print motifs, or textures that are indicated in these guidelines.

Note: Although we will include swatches from every Exhibitor who sends them in by the deadline, selection of all swatches you send is NOT guaranteed. Additionally, swatches will not be returned. Please select your quantities accordingly.


2. Send 10”x10” Swatches or Larger.

3. Do NOT send fabrics attached to headers or cardboard.

4. Label every Individual Sample with Your Company Name

  • Place a small label on the back of your fabric swatch with your company name.

5. Ship your Samples to arrive no later than Friday, January 31.

Exhibitor Badges

  • To ensure a professional and safe tradeshow environment, Badges are required to be worn by all Exhibitors and Attendees during LA Textile.

  • Please pick up your Exhibitor Badges at the Registration Desk during Move-In on Monday, February 24, 9:00am – 4:00pm.

  • You will be asked to show your Exhibitor Badge whenever you enter the Show Floor from the elevator bank.

BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS

  • Notification: Our Events Team will email your Booth assignment to you within 2 weeks of the event.

  • Assignment: Booth assignments are made based on key Exhibitor Neighborhoods with the goal to make it easy for Designers to find like-minded fabrics and resources.

BOOTH SIZE POLICY

  • Extending your booth's boundaries beyond the size that you have purchased is strictly prohibited. 

  • Show Management will require immediate adjustment of your booth's boundaries if we see that it has been extended.

INDIVIDUAL BOOTH SET-UPS

Each space will be set-up before Move-In Day and will contain the following Standard Equipment set-up per every 10x10 space. Click here to see exact quantities per Booth Size.

  • One (1) 30”x30” Writing Table

  • Two (2) Chairs

  • Three (3) Standard Garment Racks or 3-Tier Shelving Units*

  • One (1) 12”x12” Booth ID Floor Decal featuring the Company Name you specified on your Exhibitor Contract & Your Booth Number

Individual Exhibit Spaces are separated by garment racks and/or shelving units. There are NO side walls separating individual Exhibit Spaces so please plan accordingly.

*IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT RACKS & SHELVES

  • Only 2 Extra Racks or Shelves are Permitted Per Exhibit Space Package: Each exhibitor may rent only two (2) extra Racks or two (2) Shelving Units as an addition to the quantity that is already included in each Exhibit Space Package above. To place an order, use the Equipment Rental Form below.

  • Upgrading to European Racks: If you prefer European Racks with a thinner 1” diameter hanging bar, be sure to place an order for this upgrade on the Extra Equipment Form below. Select the quantity of European Racks you'd like based on your booth size. These European Racks will replace the quantity of Standard Racks included in your Exhibit Space Package: 3 Racks per 10’x10’ booth with the ability to add up to (2) more.

  • Availability: All extra equipment is available for rental in limited quantities, first-come first-served.

SIGNAGE POLICY

  • Signage may NOT be placed on any walls, columns, windows, or any other Event Space surfaces, even if these surfaces are inside of your booth or adjacent to your booth.

  • Signage may NOT hang from ceiling fixtures or any other structural surfaces in the Event space.

  • Signage is only permitted INSIDE of your booth space. Free-standing banners are recommended. You may also affix signage on any equipment and furniture located within your booth as long as it does not damage the equipment and furniture. Please bring your own sign holders and supplies for displaying signage. Show Management will not provide these items.

  • Signage may NOT be placed outside of the boundaries of your assigned booth.

  • If you have a corner booth, signage may NOT be placed on the outer corner of your booth or on the exterior side of your racks and shelves.

  • Show Management will require immediate removal of any signage that does not abide by these policies.

Flowers, Plants & Decorations Policy

  • Exhibitors should provide their own flowers, plants, or any other decorative items for your booth. Please do NOT take these items from any LA Textile Show area.

  • Show Management will not provide these items to individual Exhibitors.

  • Show Management will immediately remove any LA Textile purchased flowers and plants found in your booth.

ADDITIONAL Rules & Regulations

  • Your booth set-up, equipment, displays, signage, and decor must be placed within your designated 10x10, 10x20, 10x30, or 10x40 booth space. You may not extend your booth space beyond the booth size you have rented regardless of any empty space that exists next to your booth.

  • Exhibit Space décor must be temporary, and all displays must be freestanding. Nothing must be adhered to the Exhibit Space walls, columns, windows, or ceiling.

  • Boxes, suitcases, or other storage containers may not remain visible in your booth during the show. They may be stowed under a table with a cover or placed into exhibitor storage.

  • All of your displays, equipment, signage, and decor must be below our 6ft height limit.

  • No signage, tables or shelves may be placed in aisleways or outside the perimeter of your assigned Exhibit Space. Signage may not be placed in the outer corners of your booth.

  • All CMC furnishings set up in your Exhibit Space must be left in the same condition they were provided to you.

  • We do not stock steamers, mannequins, ladders, drills, table linens, hangers, hooks and extension cords. Be sure to bring your own should you require them. For extension cords, we recommend a minimum length of 20ft.

  • Nothing may be taped or affixed to Exhibit Space walls, columns, windows or fixtures, including stickers, pins, nails, screws or double-sided tape.

  • All exhibitors must bring their own clamps, zip ties, S-hooks or use masking tape.

  • All exhibitor property and decor must be removed from Exhibit Space upon move-out.

  • Every Exhibit Space will be inspected after Move-Out. Exhibitor will be invoiced for any damages.

  • Please Note: All exhibitors are required to decorate their booth within these guidelines and have a clean and nice aesthetic. You will be notified by our Events Team if you are in a location that requires decoration. You reserve the right to opt for another booth location if you chose not to decorate your booth.

  • Show Management reserves the right to invoice the exhibitor for any charges incurred during Show time, including fees for damage to the booth and/or fixtures, extra equipment rentals, etc. Exhibitor will receive an invoice for any charges no later than a week after the Show.

SHIPPING INFO

SHIPPING YOUR FREIGHT TO CMC BEFORE MOVE-IN

  • Exhibitors may ship product and items to CMC for setting up your Exhibit Space prior to Move-In Day; however, CMC cannot be held liable for any lost, damaged, stolen or misplaced packages. CMC Events will accept packages labeled as below and store them in a secure location until Move-In Day.

  • For security purposes, your storage will not be delivered to your Exhibit Space until Move-In Day.

  • Schedule your shipment to be delivered during these dates only:

    • Monday-Friday, February 17-21

  • DO NOT send packages to arrive on Saturday or Sunday. CMC is closed on Saturday and Sunday and we will not be responsible for receiving freight over the weekend.

  • General Hours for Shipping Deliveries:

    Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm

  • All wooden pallets brought into the facility must be removed from the facility and cannot remain behind or be disposed of in the CMC’s trash bins.

3) Tracking

Please track your package and stay abreast on the whereabouts of your shipment through the tracking information given from the shipping company. CMC will not be held liable for any lost, damaged or misplaced packages and will not track your shipment on your behalf. Exhibitors who ship to CMC must take full responsibility for the whereabouts of their own shipments.

FEDEX

FedEx maintains a shipping office & print center on the ground level of the CMC that offers “hold at location” services. Packages can be shipped directly to the FedEx office and held for pickup. Once the Event Ends:

RETURNING YOUR OWN SHIPMENT

Don’t Leave Anything Behind at CMC!

  • All Exhibitors are responsible for packing, removing and shipping their own property out of The Loft Event Space no later than 12:00pm on Friday, February 28.

  • Please arrange your freight pick-up no later than the Wednesday prior to Move-Out day.

  • For your convenience, FedEx is located in our Lobby. Contact them at: 800-463-3339.

  • Shipping vendors generally refuse to pick up containers that are overpacked, opened at closure points, or taped poorly. Please confirm that your packing style meets their requirements.

  • CMC will not be responsible for storing, shipping or ensuring courier pick-up of your freight. Any product, signage or materials left in The Loft Event Space after 6:00pm on Thursday after Move-Out ends will become property of CMC Events and will be discarded.

MOVE-IN DATE & HOURS

The Loft Event Space will be open to Exhibitors & Contractors for set-up only during the following:

MOVE-IN POLICY: $250 FINE

We require all booths to be fully set up, staffed and open for business by 9:00am on Day 1 of LA Textile. A $250 fine will apply to any exhibitor whose booth is not set-up by the LA Textile’s start time.

EXHIBITOR CHECK-IN

  • Head to the Check-In Desk in The Loft on Floor 10C.

  • Exhibitor Badges for you and your staff are required to be worn by all members of your Exhibit Space. Please instruct your team members to pick up their badges during Move-In Day or each morning of the Show.


MOVE-OUT DATE & HOURS

  • Thursday, February 27

  • 4:00pm - 6:00pm

MOVE-out POLICY: $250 FINE

MOVING YOUR LOADS IN AND OUT

For transporting wheeled, heavy and oversized loads, please use the Loading Dock and our Freight Elevators. Information below.+

Please use the Passenger Elevators for any loads that can be carried by hand. This is strictly limited to loads that can be picked up and carried on your person.

When to Use the Loading Dock & Freight Elevators

  • Rolling racks, carts, dollies, hand trucks, heavy wheeled suitcases or other wheeled transportation methods that cannot be carried by hand must be transported between our Loading Dock and Freight Elevators.

Loading Dock Access

  • Loading Dock is available for Exhibitors and their Vendors or Couriers to load/unload from personal vehicles or delivery vehicles.

  • CMC porter assistance is not available. Please supply your own manpower.

  • Loading Dock vehicle height clearance: 13’ 8”.

  • Access to the Loading Dock is complimentary and on a first come, first served basis. Limited to 30 minutes max.

  • CMC’s Loading docks do not have a lift-gate. Trucks attempting to deliver to the loading docks will therefore require their own lift gate to reach the platform.

Freight Elevators

  • Use the Freight Elevators to transport loads between the Loading Dock and The Loft Event Space on Floor 10C.

  • Passenger Elevators can ONLY be used for loads you can carry by hand.

30-Minute Loading Dock Parking Limit

  • The Loading Dock is for loading and unloading purposes only.

  • Parking in the Loading Dock is supervised by CMC Security and limited to 30 minutes max.

  • Once you load/unload your materials, you must move your vehicle to the CMC Main Parking Garage. The entrance located on Main Street, next to the Loading Dock entrance.
